The virtual meeting was commenced on 30^th August conducted by the Congregation of Jesus Mary Joseph. All the JPIC Promotors from all the 4 provinces of India and Ghana region were present. Sr. Prema Chowallur took over the session on the topic of “An understanding of LGBTQIA⁺ community, to enlightened and shared with us the practical ways from her experience of working with LGBTQIA⁺ community and different issues of the world at large. Sr. Prema highlighted about sex, gender, sexual expressions, and more about LGBTQ. She explained in detail about lesbians, gays, bisexual, transgender and queer etc. “Love and embrace every child of God.” When we work with them firstly, we should understand their community background so that we can understand their problems and able to guide and counsel them. The session was to learn and study, discuss and plan the new path ways of mission to reach out to this community and become global collaborators.
