08 Feb, 2026

As part of the Congregation of Jesus, Mary Joseph – Ghana Region’s commitment to social justice and human dignity, an Anti-Human Trafficking awareness programme was conducted for healthcare workers and staff members. The training focused on identifying signs of trafficking, understanding its physical and psychological impact, and responding effectively to vulnerable cases. Participants were educated on prevention strategies, victim support, legal procedures, and the important role of healthcare professionals in early detection and advocacy. The programme strengthened awareness and preparedness among staff, enabling them to protect vulnerable individuals and promote safe communities. It also encouraged collective responsibility in combating human trafficking through education, vigilance, and compassionate care.
