We the Society of Jesus Mary Joseph (JMJ) believes in a community-based approach to the protection and promotion of human rights, in which individuals, families and local community are responsibly engaged in the care of the most vulnerable. Our programs pave pathway to lobbying and accessing to basic services (education, nutrition and health), economic empowerment and participation in decision-making processes, to ensure that children and women enjoy their basic human rights of living dignified life.
The Children and youngsters with disability (C/YwDs) are from deserving families where they are not able to offer support because of the economic condition. The parents have to go for their daily wages which will help them earn their daily bread. Hence, we provide support to Children and youngsters with disability (C/YwDs) to create more inclusive society in the following ways below:
Medical/ Rehabilitation improves functionality of mobility through physiotherapy, self-care, domestic life their participation and functionality-(₹ 500 x24 months)
Inclusive Education helps enrol the children to the nearby schools, which will increase their self confidence level. -(₹ 300 x24 months)
Social Entitlements avail all the benefits-Disability certificate, Ration card, Pension, Bus Pass, Railway Pass this will enable to raise their voice and to stand up for the rights of their child. -(₹ 200 x24months)
How Much: 1000 x 50 children and youngsters with disability x 24 months = ₹ 12,00,000/ €11650/ $ 14458
Your donation will provide essential support such as medical and education to bring qualitative and quantitative change in every child and youngster with disability under the project fold. It will not only bring the individual change but also bring knowledge among parents, community members, peer groups and other stakeholders. The access of services will reach to the people, which is not possible due to ignorance and access. The project will minimise the gap between the services and people and will act as a bridge. It will leave a far-reaching message in terms of people’s confidence and journey.
